BRHBA ANNOUNCES FIRST ANNUAL
TREEHOUSE PROJECT!
LOCAL NEWS FLASH!! New (small) housing starts popping up in neighborhoods throughout the area! Celebrate summer out in the backyard or up in a tree! Get the summer off to a great family start, with parents and their children working together to design and build a treehouse or playhouse! The Blue Ridge Home Builders Association (BRHBA) announces its First Annual Treehouse and Playhouse Building Competition!
- Families with children ages 8 to 14 can join the competition (residents of Charlottesville, and Albemarle, Greene, Nelson and Fluvanna Counties)
- Basic plans and safety guidelines are available through BRHBA or consult your local library or bookstore - be as creative as you want to be
- Materials discounts are offered by Better Living and Blue Ridge Builders Supply
- Projects must be completed by Saturday, August 14 in order to be judged
- First, Second and Third place winners will be awarded prizes
- Get registration forms, safety guidelines and basic plans or other design help by calling 434.973.8652 or by emailing treehouse@brhba.org
- Build a playhouse or treehouse - build strong bonds and memories while you're doing it!
